I finally got my act together and edited some songs I filmed with Howard Wiley & The Extra Nappy in late July 2014, just a few days before packing a suitcase and moving to New York. Howard and I have been talking about doing something like this for a couple of years, and I wanted to make sure it happened before I left San Francisco. Thankfully Scott McDowell had an opening at Hyde Street Studio C and Howard was able to bring in Tiny Lindsey, LJ Holoman, and Thomas Pridgen to play.

The first two songs are up: Papa Was a Rolling Stone by The Temptations and Master Blaster by Stevie Wonder. I'll add others as I finish editing. Howard is threatening to release this set on vinyl some time soon, go to extranappy.com for more details.
